Victorian Kitchen

This remodeled kitchen in an 1870's Italianate Victorian reflects the style of the rest of the house. While a real Victorian kitchen would have been a simple affair with few counters, a central work table, one or two cupboards and a pantry, this kitchens responds to the contemporary life style with generous storage space, multiple counter- top work stations, and numerous built in appliances. The ceiling and crown moldings are stamped tin, counters granite, and the floor American Olean octagonal ceramic tile laid in a decorative pattern. Eleven colors make up the color scheme. Design and decorative details by Scott Wynn.
