With over 20 years of experience as a professional decorative artist, Lynne Rutter is widely recognized as a fine art muralist, and expert decorative painter with an excellent eye for color. In addition to her work on historic restoration projects, she has created original murals and designed architectural ornamentation for numerous commercial spaces as well as scores of distinguished residences throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and nationally.

Lynne's work is both figurative and ornamental, and is strongly influenced by her travels abroad; the work of great painters like Vermeer, Fra Angelica, Max Beckmann; grand period rooms; and the patterns and textures of anything beautiful she encounters.
