Humphries
This floorcloth/canvas rug was commissioned by clients in Oakland, California. The floorcloth measures 3' 7" x 5' 6" and resides in a kitchen. The design is based on floor patterns found painted on the floor of the Humphries House in Dorchester, Massachusetts, circa 1800. The border motif was created by Gracewood Design to match accent tiles in the kitchen.
The Humphries pattern is one of our most popular designs and we have explored its potential in many variations of color palette, size and shape.
