The South Rose Window at the First Unitarian Church, San Francisco. This whimsical rose window, reminiscent of a giant carnival lollipop, was completely restored, including the massive wood tracery, by Reflection Studios. Every panel of leaded glass was removed and releaded. The wood frame, badly damaged by dry rot and exposure, was partially dismantled and then “re-laminated” in a special process devised by the Studio. This procedure was a fraction the cost of replacement.
