bathtub niche

This is a shampoo niche in a bathtub surround, tiled with 4" X 4" tumbled marble. The top of the niche has been arched and the tiles on the sides and top have been inset slightly. Tiles at the bottom project out and are doubled to form a pronounced ledge. (This ensemble was created on site by tilesetters Helen Jones and Alan Bretz after the client invited them to come up with "something original", as a feature.)
