Victorian fireplace

After the Loma Prieta earthquake three fireplaces in a San Francisco Victorian were removed so that new chimneys could be built. Afterwards the old tilework and wood surrounds were reinstalled as they had originally been. This is a detail of the facing of one fireplace after completion.
